- With the introduction of the Entry Level Stewardship Scheme farmers and land managers are being encouraged to sustain, and improve the overall diversity of the countryside.
- DEFRA has set out the following objectives for the scheme. To improve and extend wildlife habitats, conserve archaeological sites, improve opportunities for the enjoyment of the countryside, restore neglected land or features, and create new habitats and landscapes.
- With these objectives in mind, we believe the most effective way of creating these habitats is to create bespoke seed mixtures.
